ITI signs a new contract for a turnkey Biomass-fired Combined Heat and Power plant in Ireland

A new Biomass Combined Heat and Power plant (CHP) sized 1,3MW electric power and 5MW heat will be delivered in turnkey solution by ITI Engineering to the Irish company Cork Green Energy in 2018. The plant, which is expected to be started up in October 2018, is located in the municipality of Macroom, in the county of Cork. The generated electricity will be delivered to the national grid and the heat will be used locally to the thermal treatment of the wood pallet production process. The biomass used as fuel consists in local residues from the wood packaging industry, giving an excellent examples of sustainability.

ITI Engineering is an Italian company, based in Cremona, established in 1985 with the aim of designing and manufacturing Biomass-fired plants for the production of Heat and Power.
